Tips from Neli’s kitchen

Recipe notes and tips for honey glaze salmon

  • Make sure you don’t boil the Honey Sriracha salmon. Use a fork to test them for more IMPORT. It should flip slightly. When salmon is baked, it can get pretty dry in the texture.
  • You can replace the honey for maple syrup if you prefer it and the white wine vinegar can be replaced by apple cider vinegar.
  • If you do the glaze, you can first add less Srirachasa sauce, try it and add more if you want.
  • The cooking time can vary depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets.

Can you make it in advance?

Yes, if you prepare the Honey Sriracha sauce the evening before, you can make this recipe even faster! Mix the ingredients of the honey glaze in a small bowl, cover them and put them in the fridge. Everything you have to do is brush the salmon with the glaze and put it in the oven when you are ready and cook it. You can’t beat that! Super simple and fast dinner a week.

Can you use frozen salmon?

I prefer to use fresh fillets for this honey Sriracha salmon, but frozen is often more convenient. Make sure you put your salmon completely on and pat dry with a paper towel before brushing it with the glaze

When salmon is frozen, it absorbs a lot of additional water, which it can do pretty mushy when cooking. Before baking, make sure that you remove as much excess moisture as possible.

Operate suggestions

I love to serve this honey-Sriracha salmon with rice, salad or roasted vegetables for a super delicious and balanced meal. It works excellently for most vegetable side dishes or even with a light salad. Try:
