Cheese and egg toast is one of these hearty breakfast recipes that I always come back to – especially if I need something fast and satisfying. This cheesy recipe for eggoast is baked, easy to prepare and full of protein quality.

When we grew up in Bulgaria, we called it Princessandwich (“Пwor”), and every time I do it, it reminds me of my childhood. It brings me so much to present my children to the Bulgarian meals with which I grew up – and even better, they love them just as much.
